An electric model in the form of the EQA will follow before the year is out. Prototypes of the EQA were travelling the snow-covered roads of Sweden at the beginning of the year. To evaluate its performance qualities, the car was exposed to extreme conditions near the Arctic Circle. This winter testing saw the engineers paying particular attention to the thermal management of the battery and the interior, and to charging in the cold. Further aspects were driving safety, traction and energy recovery on ice and snow.
